FAQ

What is Singapore Airlines' KrisFlyer program?

Singapore Airlines’ loyalty program is known as KrisFlyer, after the dagger featured in its logo.

KrisFlyer miles

Members earn KrisFlyer miles by flying with Singapore Airlines and its partners. The number of miles you gain depends on the carrier, the fare type (first, business, or economy class), and the booking class, indicated by a letter on your ticket. A miles calculator offered by the airline helps you do the math.

You can also earn up to 6% in miles for money spent at partners across Singapore, including restaurants, shopping, and attractions.

Miles are redeemed on award flights, offered in two tiers. Saver award flights require fewer miles however availability is limited so you might need to be flexible with your travel date and times. Advantage award flights require more miles but you’re more likely to get the exact dates you want. You’ll also have a choice of seats on all flights and two stop-overs per round-trip ticket (a stop of 24 hours or more in a location) so you can take in the sights. You can also spend miles on upgrades to Premium Economy, Business, and First Classes. Again, there's a calculator for determining how many miles you’ll need.
