On March 14th, 2020 the Trump administration has stated that the US will extend European travel ban to the UK and Ireland to contain COVID-19. The Trump administration has exclaimed that all travels from European countries will have a 30 day ban. The travel ban will go into effect right when the clock strikes March 13th.

Many believe that the ban is for all people, but that is not true. The travel ban from the UK is only for people who are not U.S. citizens or green card holders. For all those who are traveling to these countries should be aware that when they come back they will have to land in one of 13 airports. The government is making these individuals go through these airports because they have screenings monitoring who is coming back into the country and seeing if they have any symptoms of the coronavirus. Homeland Security is making sure that the United States doesn’t have the same problem as everywhere else.

After that these passengers will go through their medical history and other examination questions. Some travelers might even have to go through and get their temperature taken. Lastly the examiners will give the passengers a written guidance about how to self-quarantine to make sure the disease is contained if they are a carrier.
